Starling Pearl TEREA by IQOS
Starling Pearl TEREA by IQOS combines a rounded toasted tobacco blend with gentle woody and light tea aroma notes. The integrated flavour capsule allows you to change the profile with a simple click, releasing refined basil and strawberry notes alongside a cooling menthol character.
Designed exclusively for IQOS ILUMA devices, Starling Pearl TEREA provides a tobacco focused experience before the capsule is activated. Once clicked, the additional flavour profile introduces a combination of strawberry, basil and menthol for a more aromatic and cooling finish.
Each pack contains 20 TEREA heated tobacco sticks, giving you individually portioned sticks designed for use with compatible IQOS ILUMA devices.
Starling Pearl Flavour Profile:
Starling Pearl offers two stages of flavour within one TEREA stick.
The initial profile centres around a rounded toasted tobacco blend with gentle woody and light tea aromas. Clicking the pearl capsule changes the flavour by introducing refined basil and strawberry notes with a cooling menthol character.
The overall profile includes:
- Rounded toasted tobacco
- Gentle woody aroma
- Light tea notes
- Strawberry flavour
- Refined basil notes
- Cooling menthol character
This capsule format allows the flavour experience to be changed during the session without switching to a different tobacco stick.
Flavour Capsule Technology:
The defining feature of Starling Pearl is its integrated flavour capsule.
You can use the stick with its original tobacco profile before activating the capsule. When you click the pearl inside the stick, the additional flavour components are released.
The capsule adds a combination of strawberry, basil and menthol, creating a more pronounced aromatic and cooling character.
This gives each stick a flexible flavour profile while keeping the tobacco blend at the centre of the experience.
Designed For IQOS ILUMA:
Starling Pearl TEREA sticks are made specifically for the IQOS ILUMA range. IQOS ILUMA uses Smartcore Induction Technology to heat compatible TEREA sticks rather than using the traditional blade system found in older IQOS devices.
TEREA sticks contain an integrated heating element designed to work with the ILUMA induction system. For this reason, Starling Pearl TEREA should only be used with compatible IQOS ILUMA devices.
Important: TEREA sticks are not designed for older blade based IQOS devices.
20 TEREA Sticks Per Pack:
Each Starling Pearl TEREA pack contains 20 heated tobacco sticks. Every stick is individually designed for a single IQOS ILUMA session.
IQOS states that TEREA sticks are designed to last for up to 14 puffs or 6 minutes, whichever comes first, although the actual duration can vary according to individual usage.
How To Use Starling Pearl TEREA:
Using Starling Pearl with a compatible IQOS ILUMA device is straightforward:
- Make sure your IQOS ILUMA device has sufficient charge.
- Insert a Starling Pearl TEREA stick into the holder as instructed.
- Allow the device to heat the stick.
- Begin your session when the device indicates that it is ready.

This makes Starling Pearl distinct from non capsule TEREA variants.

Starling Pearl TEREA is listed by IQOS UK as compatible with all IQOS ILUMA devices.
It should not be used with older IQOS devices that rely on a traditional heating blade. Always check the model of your device before purchasing TEREA sticks.
