When Pause Mode is used, the experience remains subject to the device’s specified puff limit. FlexPuff is also not available during an experience where Pause Mode has been activated.

FlexPuff Technology

FlexPuff is designed to adapt to individual puffing patterns. Under suitable usage conditions, the feature may provide up to 4 additional puffs beyond the standard 14 puff experience.

The device automatically analyses the experience and determines whether additional puffs can be provided. Because activation depends on individual usage patterns, the additional puffs are not guaranteed for every user or every experience.

This makes FlexPuff different from a fixed puff count, as the feature responds to how the SMARTCORE STICK is being used.

FlexBattery And Consecutive Experiences

The IQOS ILUMA i is designed to provide up to 3 consecutive experiences from a fully charged Holder when Pause Mode has not been activated. This can be useful when you want to use the device more than once without immediately returning the Holder to the Pocket Charger.

The Pocket Charger can provide up to 20 uses per full charge, subject to battery condition and usage. When Pause Mode is activated, the number of consecutive experiences supported by the Holder can differ.
